Our company "Kuminiano fruit" Ltd. Dates its existence from November 1995 year. Its foundation is a result of the continual and stubborn presence of Mr. Pietro Santorelly on the Bulgarian market. At the beginning the main activity of the company is buying up and primary preserving of cherries. It is season work, which is suspended with the end of the cherry campaign. The bought up amounts in the form of drums are exported to Italy, where from the processed cherries are sent all over the world.

     After five years durable presence in Bulgaria so naturally come the idea of the creation of "Kuminiano fruit" Ltd. The mentioned above starts its activity with producing plastic drums 220 l. used for preserving of cherries. In March 2000 year the company manages to buy its own property in Katunitza village, Plovdiv county in Central Bulgaria, which is a premise to the foundation of a compact factory for processing cherries in Sulphiric dioxide just a few months later. The worm climate, the extremely soft winter as well as the fact that it is situated in the geographic centre of Bulgaria are the main reasons which determine the choosing of the Plovdiv region.

     The factory possesses a new stream for cleaning up the stems and calibration of fruit and new machines for removing the stones. Another advantage of the factory is its underground level, which allows thought though the short winter months the production to be well stored and preserved from the cold. The underground level has stable temperature all the time of the year. The main criteria to the running producing process is the quality of the production. Even the buying up of the raw material is controlled. The main amounts of cherries are provided for the cartilaginous sorts: Van, Bing, Lambert, less Pink Napoleon and Draganovka. This sorts are notable with hardness, small stone, easy separated from the fruit and low liquid content. Its consistence makes them extremely suitable for industrial process. A great exaction is displayed to the suppliers, mainly agriculture cooperations, not only by the time of the campaign, but also during the rest of the year in regards to the cares, sprays and the treatment, which the gardens need. The company helps with advanced means the producers, so that they could be able to carry out the necessary agro-technical procedures and provide for fruit, which response to the requirements of the market. By the time of the campaign fruits age gathered in their technological ripeness, which betters the quality of the industrial product.
